Bradley Lands is the Director of Technology and Innovation at The Langley School in McLean, Virginia. He is a passionate educator who strives to provide students with the skills they will need to become lifelong learners and creative problem solvers in our global society. Brad graduated from James Madison University with a B.S. and a M.A.T., and graduated from Virginia Tech with an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. He began his career in education as a sixth grade math and science teacher for three years in Falls Church City Public Schools. He later became certified in Career and Technical Education for grades K-12 and taught Technology Education for one year. This eventually led him to transition into the role of an Instructional Technology Coach for two years at the middle level. Due to his passion for teaching and learning with technology, Brad became a Google for Education Certified Trainer, a Google for Education Certified Innovator, an Apple Distinguished Educator, a Siemens STEM Institute Fellow, and a National Board Certified Teacher in Technology Education.Recently in 2017, Brad became an adjunct professor for Marymount University teaching the graduate level course, Computers & Technology in the Classroom.
